While I have been predominantly trained in family systems theory, I have had additional training in other modalities. I believe that individuals have different needs, and have tailored my therapy to suit the needs of each individual
Family Systems Approach looks at interactions and patterns between an individual and their family or context they find themselves in (relationship, friendships, work etc). This approach focuses on the impact of the interactions on the individuals emotional, behavioural and relational well-being.
Person- Centred Approach believes that each individual has the potential for growth and self-actualisation. The role of the therapist is to facilitate this process, in a non-judgemental approach which is conducive to self-exploration.
